Webcast Registration Instructions
The registration process for cybersportsUSA.com webcasting will walk you
through everything that you need to create your own virtual home page
for your team where fans from around the world can find your team information,
roster, and even schedule.
You will need the following information to complete the registration:
Step One.
First, you will need to create your own personal profile with CyberSports. You will
asked for your name, email, and password. Remember, you will need your email
and password to login at a later date and make changes.
Step Two.
Next, you will need basic information such as organization name, city, state,
country and postal code. You will also want to provide your own website address
if you have one, the level of competition that your team participates in, and most
importantly the SERIAL NUMBER of your CyberSports. The serial number is used to
allow fans to find YOUR webcast games.
Step Three.
Now for the fun stuff. In step three, you will provide specific information
about your team. Be prepared to enter your team name, staff, and your roster.
For staff, you will need first name, last name, and then you can select a title.
For your roster, you will need the players' first name, middle initial(if available),
last name, number, grade or year of participation, and position.
You can enter as many or as few staff members and players as you like.
Step Four.
In step five, you will enter your schedule. The information that you will
be asked for here is the opponents name, game location(home or away),
date of game, start time, and whether or not you intend to webcast the
game.
If you are planning to Webcast a game in which your own team is not participating,
such as during a Tournament, enter both teams in the Opponent field. There
is a limit to the number of characters you can enter, approximately 30
characters. However, you could easily put the following: "G1: Glendale
vs. Cincinatti" where G1 would be helpful in a tournament to signify
Game 1.
Step Five.
Almost done. Step five allows you to review your work up to this point. If you
have changes on any of your information, simply click the "edit" link and
go make your changes. When you are done, hit submit to send your information to
CyberSports.
Wrapping Up
Upon submission, you should recieve an email that your information has
been sent successfully for review. The CyberSports review process can
take as long as 24 hours. This is important to make sure that fake data
does not make its way into the system. CyberSports wants to make sure
that the fans have real, authentic game and team information available
to them. When your information has been approved, you will recieve a second
email congratulating you for approval into the cybersportsUSA system.
You can immediately go and view your team page on the site.
